About Us

In 1991 Service America Corporation, a national foodservice, vending and concessions service company spun off their Northeastern food and vending operation to form Servomation International, Inc.  Its’ international name was because the largest branch operation was located in Montreal. 

In 1995, the holding company that owned Servomation International terminated their operation and sold off all their holdings which were mostly manufacturing but included Servomation  International and it’s seven operating centers in the Northeast including Eastern New York at Clifton Park which was also its headquarters location.

Shortly before the decision to sell J.E. “Eddie” Hicks who was National Vice President Vending for the Marriott Corporation was recruited as CEO for Servomation International.  Eddie Hicks then purchased the Clifton Park location which includes accounts in Eastern and Central New York and Vermont.

Thus, Prestige Services, Inc. was formed in March of 1996 and now operates in the same area but  over three times the original size.

Prestige’s success is based on a sincere commitment to the Basic Values and Objectives which are set forth on the attached pages.  Our commitment to insure success to our customers and employees as well as to ownership is our foundation.  Our Basic Values were established before incorporation, not as a sales gimmick, but as a real basis of operation.  We are happy to share them with you.
